Day 10: A Place Like No Other
December 10, 2025

December 10, 2025

There's truly no place like Washington College. From the historic Hill dorms to our waterfront boathouse and Environmental Hall, from the serene River and Field Campus to the brick pathways that guide us from building to building, every corner of this place tells a story. And every piece of this historic place needs thoughtful care.
This past Homecoming Weekend, the Class of 2025 senior officers cut the ribbon on the newly restored brick walkway between the George Washington statue and Middle Hall. The fundraising effort honored their class while also celebrating the many donors who chose to leave a lasting mark with a personalized brick at the heart of campus. At its core, the project reflected our shared commitment to caring for this historic campus and ensuring it thrives for the generations to come.
Your gift to the Washington Fund helps make these kinds of improvements possible, both the small touches and major enhancements, like Kibler Field and Norman James Theatre in 2024.
Today, we invite you to share of photo of your favorite Washington College landscape and use the hashtag #DecemberDays. And if you're inspired, consider making a gift of any size to support the Washington Fund and help preserve the place we all love.
