Chris Cerino Discusses Downrigging Festival

Chris Cerino, VP of the Sultana Education Foundation will be speaking about all things related to Downrigging Weekend. This will include a brief history of the Downrigging Festival weekend, a rundown of the ships participating in this year’s event, and other activities taking place in Chestertown during the three-day weekend.

This Learn@Lunch will take place in the Roy Kirby Stadium Skybox.

With a master’s in teaching Secondary History from the University of Virginia, Chris joined SEF in 2002 shortly after SULTANA’’s launch. His rich background in environmental education, development, and local knowledge allow him to create and implement award-winning educational programs across the organization. An outdoorsman and singer-songwriter, Chris’ devotion to the Eastern Shore is hard to find among many. Chris lives in Chestertown with his wife, two children, and lovable Labrador.
