The Office of College Advancement is made up of four sub-departments: Major Gifts, Annual Giving, Advancement Services, and Alumni Relations. Each section plays an important role in the overall mission of the College Advancement Office and the College.
The College Advancement Office is located on the top floor of Bunting Hall, with Advancement Services located on the lower mezzanine and Annual Giving on the garden level.

Barbara supervises donor stewardship and works with foundations, alumni, parents, and friends to develop long-term relationships and support for Washington College. A veteran of two major comprehensive Washington College capital campaigns, she brings 22 years of fund raising experience and extensive institutional knowledge to her work as a key strategist in campaign planning and management, board development, and major gift conversations.

Patsy provides friendly, courteous, and steady support for the College's fundraising efforts. She has been a secretary at the College since 1976, working first in the Office of the Registrar and later joining the Office of College Advancement in 1992.

Jeff oversees leadership giving, while supervising the major, planned, and annual giving teams. He also plays a leading role in Washington College capital campaigns. Jeff travels extensively on behalf of the institution to develop long-term lasting relationships with the College's constituency. He has more than 22 years of educational fund-raising experience ranging from major gift solicitation to annual giving and alumni and parent relations.

Heather works on structuring major and planned gifts, and offers assistance to members of The George Washington Society. She travels on behalf of the College to promote and maintain close relationships with alumni, parents, and friends. Heather graduated from Washington College with a B.A. in English, and earned a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law. Prior to joining the advancement team, Heather worked as an attorney in estate planning and administration as well as in commercial litigation.

Rebekah helps to plan and produce the College's annual giving program, The Washington Fund. In addition to stewardship of The 1782 Society, she leads recent graduate and reunion fundraising, publications, and event planning. A 2005 graduate of the Anthropology Department at Washington College, Rebekah spent a semester travelling as an Admissions Representative before joining the Development staff.

Kate Goldberg serves as the chief information officer for the Office of College Advancement, providing strategic leadership to create and manage an effective infrastructure to support the College's fundraising and alumni relations efforts. She received a Bachelors of Arts from Randolph-Macon Woman's College, majoring in Mathematical Biology; she has worked at Washington College since 2002, starting as the Manager of IT Support Services (HelpDesk) in the Office of Information Technologies.
